What depends on us. And what does not.
This page describes each shared service and how a panel behaves without it. It is not yet connected to live monitoring, so it will not tell you whether something is down right now — and claiming otherwise would be worse than saying so.

Shared services
Three, and only one of them is ever needed by a running server.
Release distributionServes signed release packages to the in-panel updater and the bootstrap installer. Needed to update.
Licence validationVerifies panel licences. Needed to activate a new licence.
Website & documentationThis site. Informational.

What keeps working regardless
This matters more than the list above. Hosting does not depend on any of these services.
WebsitesServed exactly as before.
EmailDelivered as before.

BackupsTaken on schedule, to your own destinations.
The panel itselfFully usable for day-to-day administration.
What you would loseOnly the ability to fetch a new update or activate a new licence. Installed panels continue on the version and licence they already hold.
